An active employee is anyone included in at least one pay run during the billing month. Employees on leave or not included in any run that month are not counted.
No setup fees on any plan. Standard includes a 14-day free trial. Managed Payroll and Bookkeeper Pro are set up through a quick onboarding call with our team.
You are billed per pay run after each run is completed. There is no monthly base fee. If you run payroll twice a month, you pay for two runs.
Yes. Standard supports unlimited companies under one account. You pay per active employee across all companies. Many bookkeepers use Standard for exactly this reason.
No. PayCub never touches your funds. We handle the calculations, pay stub creation, verification, and delivery. After each pay run you receive a clear Funds Summary showing exactly what each employee is owed, the total CRA remittance due, and your pay date, so making payments and remitting is straightforward. You stay in control of the money.
